I am sure I am not the only one who dislikes how printers are attached to users in MSCM. We need the printers to be specific to a user, so we attach them in the user setup to each receiving location to cover ourselves if a shipment ends up at the wrong dock (happens more than you would think). We just upgraded to 10.1.8.13 and an extra step has been added - we now have to map each printer to each receiving location as well.
I have had an Enhancement request out there asking to have an option to attach a default printer to a user. No locations, workstations involved - just a user. One place to add a printer one place to update the printer if needed. It is ER 19457. PLEASE VOTE!
