CenPOS HTML5 Interface - Important Information

To All:

Last week, at the Partner FACTS v9.3 Pre-Release webinar, we discussed the new CenPOS HTML5 interface replacing the CenPOS FLASH interface.

Since then we have received additional, important, information regarding the CenPOS HTML5 interface;

Anybody utilizing the CenPOS HTML5 interface with FACTS needs to insure that they are using the latest release of the CenPOS Virtual Bridge Software - v6.1

CenPOS has confirmed that using the HTML5 interface WITHOUT updating the Virtual Bridge Software to v6.1 will result in your EMV terminal not being activated (not accepting swipes or chip reads).

For easy reference the following are the URLS for the respective CenPOS interfaces:

The above information will be included in the FACTS v9.3 Release Notes - which will be available when FACTS v9.3 is released.

Additional information, from CenPOS, regarding this issue:

If you have the Windows Firewall activated on the workstation running the Virtual Bridge software you must insure that the following ports are open for both INBOUND and OUTBOUND traffic: 8055, 50856, 843, 8000, 8443. As a reminder - the HTML5 interface REQUIRES the latest/most current version of the Virtual Bridge Software (v6.1 at this time).
