LPL / Configuration Console - Add Item to LRCMyStaffMenu
unknown
Would like to add an item to the list that appears when you click on the My Staff icon. It is the LRCMyStaffMenu. Would like to trigger a process flow from a newly added item in this list. THANKS!!

This isn't specifically for the LRCMyStaffMenu, but in the video is a part that shows how to add an item to a menu.

Dr. Awesome
What type of MenuItem are you planning to add? Only a ActionRequest (User or Configured), an Action with Entrance/Exit rules or a BusinessTask (I think) could trigger a process.

We are looking to add a hire action - triggering a process flow.
unknown
Here is our attempt. The new item is the HireContractor at the bottom. Getting a message, "Component is unexpected, unknown or invalid in this context" with the red under "action is Employee.HireContractor. HireContractor is an Action Extension under the Employee Business Class.
If I replace action with actionextension, the red line goes away but It is not allowing me to save.
