Occupational Codes for state quarterly wage reporting

What is the most efficient way to create and attached Occupational Classification codes to people? We cannot find a specified field for this reporting requirement. We are V10.07 cloud based multi-tenant. I assume we can use HR04 and attach to the HR11, but I am looking for more automation, so we do not need to revisit manually every quarter. Is anyone attaching this value to the job and/or position, so it auto populates? Any insight would be most appreciated.

I am wondering if you found a way to attach the occupational code to employees. I know if you go to HR11 and go to "Tax" and click on "State Reporting" (HR16.2) that is where the Occupational Code field is located. I'm just curious if you found a way to do this as I am in the same boat. We do have an occupational health module in GHR but I'm not sure where we would enter the Occ Code and have it transfer over to HR16.2. What are you currently doing to attach the occ codes to employees?

Did you ever determine where in Infor to put the SOC code for IN employees. I only have 14 but i can imagine if you have a lot more and have to do it manually each quarter. Odd that there is no place for it but that the PR292 file shows the space for it in the file.

As previously mentioned in this thread, the Indiana SOC code is entered via the HR11 > Tax tab > State Reporting (HR17.1, not HR16.2), so there is a 'place for it'.

The SOC code for Indiana is stored in the PREMPSTATE table > OCC-CODE field.

Some states (i.e., Washington) have the SOC code stored in the PRREGPARM table > S-VALUE field.

Unfortunately, there is no available 'mass update' program to update PREMPSTATE or PRREGPARM.

Thanks for the info, our form is not showing that additional field. I am guessing we need a CTP - do you know what CTP that would be in , we are looking at CTP125985 there are alot of state updates but not sure if that will do the trick.

The addition of SOC code for Indiana was delivered with the regulatory changes to Unemployment Reporting 3rd quarter of 2019 (see KB 2087154 for details) with JT-1290399.

JT-1290399 has since been superseded, your best option would be to apply the current PR292PD version 149.1.109 which can be found in JR-6195768 (KB #2302373).
