Physical Inventory and Obsolete Parts

Does marking a part Obsolete at the Part Maintenance level exclude it from being counted in Physical Inventory Counts?

We don't click the obsolete check box (Inventory / Part Maintenance / Config Mgt) until the quantity on hand is zero. Up to that point we add 'OBS' to the beginning of the part's description to let users know that the part is no longer used. There is no check box on the Initialize Physical Count to exclude obsolete parts. There is a check box on the Initialize Physical Count to process non-zero location only tho (which we use).
