Has anyone written "down "inventory?

Has anyone written "down" inventory in Lawson? If so, what module did you use? I know you cannot use IC28 on receipt records, which is what this is. Are there any alternatives?

The PO Receipt should book a CA when the buyer message on it is cleared on MA64/66.3

Sorry..I did not give more background. There is nothing wrong with the original cost of the material. However, the material will be issued out at a lower price and we would like to write down the average cost of the material before it is issued.

I would use IC24 to adjust the entire SOH out and then adjust it back in at the desired average cost. The difference should post to your other inventory adjustments account.
