Hi guys, I was reading the release notes for the latest version of the Lawson Microsoft Add-Ins and saw that it now supports saved queries with a .dmex extension. I had not heard of these and had to open a case just to find out what .dmex files are. Per Lawson support, these are saved queries in xml format. The support person further explained that these saved queries came from outside of Lawson.
I have always thought of the Microsoft Add-ins as a self-contained end user tool, and am genuinely curious to understand how and why saved add-ins queries are being written in xml - I feel like I might be missing out on something. Does anyone out there create/use add-ins saved queries in xml?
In case I am not the only one who has never heard of this, I am attaching the sample .dmex file the support person gave me here.
