Hi, not sure if this will get anywhere, but I said I would log it to see if anyone has come across this........
Clients have a main windows server 2016 with the latest version of Opera on it
they have Terminal Server with about 25 users & some local ones dialing onto the main server
theyre reporting that since they moved onto this server, theyre experiencing some severe delays/speeds
Their IT guy has been in & says with everyone out, one user in, everything works fine.
AS soon as one other user logs in & starts posting sales transactions, the sales reports become sluggish, but purchase reports are fine. As soon as the other user goes to post purchase transactions, the purchase reports become sluggish. Its as though Opera is being locked by the one other user. Im not expecting any easy fix, but just wondered if anyone had come across this? Theyre on 1gb network cards & switches. If he manually copies data across the network, its fine & when the sluggishness is being experienced, theres no performance problem on the server - its still sat at 5%
Not really sure what to suggest. Theyre running all the usual period ends & reorgs.
Weve scheduled in a UDS with force rebuild to eliminate the data.
Anti Virus is excluding all the relevant Pegasus folders
Just not really sure what to suggest!
Many thanks
James
