Good morning! We are currently using Lawson's temp solution for the WA Family & Medical Leave Ins Tax and are manually maintianing some of the deductions on PR14/PR13.7. I'm wondering if anyone has tested the Lawson CTP permanent solution for WA Family & Medical Leave Ins Tax along with BSI Bulletin 165 at the same time? BSI Bulletin 165 rescinds tax category 999 and it seems as though because of that, after we run PR705 to correct the tax categories on our exisiting deductions, the PR113 does not want to move the one deduction for 'tax category 999' from the 'User' tab to the 'System' tab on PR13.7 (our other 3 deductions moved fine - 2 for emp & 1 for company). We went ahead and ended the deduction on PR05 and ran PR115 and all PR14's were ended (at this point deduction again is still on PR13.7 User tab). We then ran another PR113 for all and then saw a 'ReOpen' record for the deduction for every WA employee. When we ran in update for one of the ee's, both the 'Begin' and 'End' date on PR14 was updated to current date. This is the deduction that BSI created using tax category 999 (Tax Calc Special Use Limits) in bulletin 153 to ensure that the PFML calculated tax was not assessed on wages in excess of the annual maximum wage amount. We are not sure if we should be concerned with the PR113 wanting to change the Begin/End date on the PR14's or not for this deduction or if we should be concerned with the deduction being left on the PR13.7 User tab. We have already verified that the deduction is not occuring. Has anyone experienced any of this? or does anyone have any wisdom to offer? I do have a ticket in with Lawson as well. Thanks in advance.
