How to update the specific ION API suite in the ION API Gateway

Can any one suggest me, how could i update the ION API Suite in the ION Gateway.

Do we need to apply updated patches in the server ? Please confirm.

Scenario:-

There many API Suites are available in ION API Gateway like Twitter, Infor M3, Sales force suites or templates. Where i verified the current version of target api is very high when we compare the provided or available api suite verson.

If this is a template provided by Infor OS team, then the update of API definition is managed by the Infor team.

When it comes to Infor owned product APIs - Like Infor M3 that you mentioned - the latest API definitions should be available in the standard template of gateway with subsequent patches of Infor OS.

When it comes to Third party templates like twitter or SalesForce, the updates to these APIs happen at a relatively slower pace. And also there is no guarantee that a newer version of third party APIs will be backward compatible. So if you need access to latest 3P APIs, it is advisable to create your own non-Infor Suite and use the latest API endpoint/ documentation and use it as a custom suite.
