Addins Upload PR30 - Change End Date

Does anyone have an Addins upload to change the End Date on the PR30 entries? The template info I have says all that is needed is the Company, Employee, FC and Seq-Nbr - and any fields that need changed. This is not working for us. Thanks!

I would also like to know. We have more than one line on the PR30 also so how does Lawson determine which one to change?

Hi Deanna, the attached upload worked for me to change the end date on a standard time record for an individual employee. If the record is for a group, I would think you would just replace the employee with the group. FYI I had to add a double file extension to the saved upload, otherwise it would not load (silly xtreme doesn't allow us to load their own file types!), so remove that 2nd extension if you want to try it.

Hi Cindy, the combination of company, employee or group, pay code, and sequence number determine which record to change.

Thank you for sharing the template. It works on some of our pay codes and not on others. Not sure if it's because some have data populated in the tabs at the bottom of the PR30 but appears that might be where the issue is.

Deanna, for the records where it is still not working, have you tried including the fields that are populated in the tab areas, in your upload?

I have but get random errors that don't always match the data. It's almost like the upload for the data below is not matching up with the row at the top of the screen....if that makes sense. For example, the Reason code is invalid message on rows where Reason code should not be needed, etc.

Changing PR30 with Addins is kind of tricky because you have to assign the exact line you are working on. So that could mean changing line 1 for employee a, line 5 for employee b, line 3 for employee c, etc. You'd need to carefully create your spreadsheet as well as possibly needing multiple Addins depending on which lines you are trying to change.
