We need to create a new pay plan to start being used the end of July for Non Exempt biweekly frequency - 7 days in Work Period. Can anyone who has started a pay plan mid-year tell us what should be used for the Effective Date, first Work Period End Date & first Pay Period End Date? We created the PR21 going back to the 1st pay period of 2019 and let it calculate out the 26 pp's in 2019 (thought it would create one extra like the PR999 does but it didn't). We then did a test run of PR999 with the new plan and it shorted us on pp's for 2020. Can anyone share the rule of thumb for dates on the PR21 particularly with adding mid-year? Thank you!
