MT Rich Client Unable to Launch

I am having issue with Rich Cleint.  I went to MT system and applications link, and from there installed the HCM rich client.  After install, click on the rich client shortcut and nothing happens.  Under process explorer, I saw rich client tried to run java, but one second later, java died.

I am running on Windows 10, with jre 1.8.0.66.  Has anyone run into issues with Rich Client on MT?

Hi,

We had a similar issue about a year ago where after an upgrade were could not open rich client.

This is the resolution we had from our ticket with INFOR:

Resolution:

- Uninstalled java 8_171 and installed 8_161. (note: we had to go to a lower version of java at that time)

- Download Rich Client from yourserver.yourdomain.com/.../ (note: this will show you the list of URLs to install rich client. We started using the admin URL since that time)
