GHR Benefits Implementation

Has anyone encountered a situation where dependents and beneficiaries added during open enrollment simply don't appear for the employee. I'm led to believe they need to be approved but the implementation guide does not provide information on this.

I haven't dealt with open enrollment yet, but a dependent must be in a Pending or Confirmed status in order to be benefit eligible.

Dependents won't appear unless they're Benefit Eligible flag is Pending or Confirmed. Under Administrator > Setup > Structure > Organizations > open your org, on the bottom of the Detail tab what is the selection for Dependent Benefit Eligible? You'll want that to say Pending or Confirmed and then work with your interface team to flip the status from Pending to Confirmed, if necessary.

Thank you for the path. I see that our field is currently set to Confirmed. Is there somewhere else we would also need to check?

We are currently in the testing phase of this upgrade so fortunately it hasn't caused any issues yet.

If the default value is confirmed, I would check the individual dependent. If you go to Maintenance > By Resources > Dependents & Beneficiaries > double click on the dependent, is the dependent Active (under the Additional section) and Confirmed (under the Benefits Eligibility section) and Beneficiary Eligible Yes (under the Beneficiary section)?

If all of that looks good, check the Audit Log (Actions button > View Full Audit Log) to see what effective date was used for the dependent.

We unfortunately cannot get to this step because our database isn't saving dependents altogether. We've tried creating new dependents numerous times but they don't appear in the Dependents & Beneficiaries tab as we would expect. Did your team encounter this by any chance?
