Arrears

Arrears: Our benefits start the first of the month following hire. Question? How does arrears work to capture new hires that apply for their online benefits on day 29 of 30? Late enrollments, can the system capture the arrears? Also, employees that have missed deductions due to insufficient/no paycheck. Do you have a set up for arrears?

No, they system will not add arrears for employees who wait until the end of their enrollment period. Those arrears need to be entered manually. For the insufficient/no paycheck situations, the arrears will be created provided the deduction (PR05) is set up to create arrears.

To add to what Carla said, so long as the deduction is set up in PR05 to create arrears, the PR140 will create arrears for anyone who has time records but doesn't have enough pay. However, in order to create arrears for employees who don't have any time records at all, you will need to process a PR139.
