Hi

I have to transfer a IDM Document from one system (LTR 2025.06) to an other one (CE).

My consideration;

activate ION Integration

create a Data Flow from the source IDM to the destination IDM with the Sync.ContentDocument BOD and a mapping from sync to process on the way …

Do far so good:

BOD is triggerd

Data Flow works - Document will be created on the destination side …

But:

In the Sync.ContentDocument BOD there is only the (not direct useable - KB2231342) url to the document himself.
For the process BOD I'll need the Base64Binary string … Therfore only the Document Header without contend will be created on the destination side.

Does anyone have experience with a scenario like this? How can it be solved?

I would have expected it to be possible to transfer data between two Infor systems.

I'd really like to avoid programming an application that selects the document via API, downloads the content, base64-encodes it, and then transfers it back to the target system via API. Surely there's an easier way?

T'x

Christoph

Hello,

I have been working with the DOCX templates a bit, and while I do like them for fairly easy formats and such, I have not found a way to use any HTML or rtf markup in the XML that gets sent. I am using the Word Add In to test.

I have tried the typical "<Notes>{\rtf\b Hello World\b0}</Notes>" and <Notes>
Hello world!
</Notes>, but it just renders as plain text. Infor documentation mentions the RichText Content Control, but that does not seem to help.

Has anyone found a markup language that does work or some way to make either HTML or RTF work.

I need to be able to send the markedup text in the xml → Converted to base64 → added to the JSON for the Document Output api.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hello,

Infor CSD user here.

I am familiar with using the base level IDM/items API to upload documents to document management, specifying attributes such as 'Order_Number' and 'Order_Suffix' to attach documents to their orders. To do this, I would need an API which gave me some kind of list containing the attributes and their values for each document attached to a given order that is of type 'Pick_List'. I want to be able to initially provide the order number and suffix in my request body, and parse through the response to see the data for each 'Pick_List' document for that order.

If I had to guess, this would be achieved through one of the IDM/items/search APIs. Is this correct?

Hi, I need help on adding Context Messages to Table tppdm600 in Session InContext Model (Design Studio)

I'm currently facing an issue with adding context messages to the table tppdm600 within the InContext Model session in Design Studio.

The objective is to enable session tppdm6100m000 to display multiple Business Entity Models, each linked to different Business Context Models (BCMs) and document types defined in IDM. In contrast to tables like tdpur401, which natively support multiple context viewers for display and upload out of the box, tppdm600 does not have any standard EnContext functionality available.

To work around this, I created a custom BCM in IDM, defined an EnContext, and mapped it in the document mapping session (ttdms3550m100). I then synchronized it using sessions such as Initialize Document Hub (ttdms3200m000), followed by generating the Reference Context Models and Implementation Models.

The issue now is: I need to add additional business entities to the tppdm6100m000 session, but I’m unable to do so. Has anyone encountered a similar situation or can guide me on how to extend this session with more entities?

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Infor Community Members,

I’m reaching out to the community for advice on a specific cheque printing workflow many of us in finance/AP roles might face:

How can we duplicate cheques with identical prenumbered details and retain carbon copies for records using Infor’s enterprise printing tools?

Context:
As my team prepares to transition to SL10 Cloud, we need to replicate a critical process: printing duplicate cheques (e.g., an original + carbon copy) that exactly match the prenumbered sequence on our physical cheque stock. This ensures consistency for audits, reprints, and archival purposes.

Key Questions:

Duplicate Printing with Same Numbers:
Has anyone successfully configured Infor (e.g., SL, ERP, or Infor OS tools) to print duplicate cheques that retain the exact same cheque number as the original? For example:

Reprinting a damaged cheque without voiding/reissuing a new number.

Generating a carbon copy for internal records alongside the original.

Carbon Copy Workflows:
Does your organization use Infor’s enterprise printing to automatically produce carbon copies during bulk cheque runs? If so, how did you set this up?

Challenges & Solutions:

Have you encountered issues with cheque numbers resetting or mismatching during duplication?

Are there workarounds (e.g., custom scripts, third-party tools) to force numbering consistency?

Why This Matters:
Manual renumbering or mismatched duplicates create compliance risks and operational delays. If you’ve tackled this—or are also struggling with it—your insights could help countless teams align digital and physical cheque processes!

Let’s Collaborate:

If you’ve solved this, please share your approach (settings, code snippets, or partner tools used).

If you’re also exploring this, let’s brainstorm solutions together.

Any documentation or lessons learned are appreciated!

Example Use Case:
“We need to print a duplicate cheque with #1001 for our files, but the system auto-increments to #1002. How do you lock the number for duplicates for bulk cheque runs?”

Your expertise could unlock a smoother transition for teams like mine. Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge!

I am positive that others on this community are using SL10 Enterprise print to be able to print their check runs; & I'm more then positive that many of you will also need to reprint cheques to keep as a carbon copy for compliance reasoning.

Anyone with any information that may lead me in the right direction is EXTREAMLY APPRECIATED.

Best regards,

Is there a way to put the IDM API behind an API Gateway? I can see the IDM API in the available list of the API Gateway, but it doesn’t allow applying any policies.

Would it be possible to place this API behind a proxy so we can leverage API policies like rate control, throttling, etc.? Also, what should be the target endpoint security configuration in this case?

Looking forward to your insights.
