Hello Everyone I am trying to add constraint on the Effective Date for it to allow only Thursdays, In IPA normally we can just check for Date.Day()==4, which seems like JS and now I we can use JS in LPL, so was just wondering if anyone has applied such logic using JS or in any other manner.
Here's a working Code if any needs it -
single column effective date propagated from ChangePayRate constraint (effective date week day not 4) "Not Thrusday"
HI Hemant - yes you can add constrains using LPL. Example below is a constrain I have in place. It prevents users from attaching document if their credentials are verified. I havent had the need to apply constraints using JS, yet.
Attachment.Title label is "Description" Attachment.File label is "FileName" constraint (not VerificationInfo.Verified)
Thanks, I was looking for constraint on Effective Date, When if comes to Day of week specifically. More specifically I want to confirm if anyone has used Date.Day() Function in LPL.
Trying to use this but struggling with the syntax, but I did find this -
