SCE drillback

Hello,

I'm trying to understand and use drillback from ION to SCE via a workflow.

I read on some manual that drillbacks are only available for a few standard BODs; the one I'm currently trying to use is Sync.InventoryAdjustment.

I set up the view in the workflow but when I click on the link in the task in Mingle I get this error:

Has anyone ever tried something similar and know how to learn to handle it?

Hi there, I haven't tried a drillback to SCE but I have been playing with drillbacks recently and I got that error when I didn't define all the right values it was looking for. I had to define my XML drillback function properly and then match those parameters in the workflow.

Hello, thank you very much for your reply.

The thing is, I'm new to use drillbacks and I don't quite know where to define the xml function. I'm using a standard drillback so I thought I had to just set up the flow and parameters.

When I get to the Edit drillback page, how am I supposed to know how to map the parameters correctly? I mean, I can set up accounting entity and location, but what about other parameters like ID1?

Is there a definition somewhere that I shoud look up?

Hi, I'm not SCE but LN person, but from the error that you posted I would say:

- you are missing Drillback import in Infor OS Admin settings

- you have a connection point with lid something, that is different from lid of the application inside of Infor OS

In first case you would have to get drillback's xml somewhere (depends on the application, for LN there is a special KB on Infor Xtreme).

In second case you would have to go to Infor OS Admin, open SCE application there and on the tab Logical ID Fallback's you would have to add the lid of the connection point itself (that way when task is published, on the task's drillback action Infor OS will know which application to open).

ID1 is most probably the primary key field of the session/form that would have to open (which you have to include in the attributes in drillback view on the workflow task in Infor ION).
