I can't create a reference in a Monitor between the documents ServiceOrder and ReceiveDelivery, because this isn't offered in the part "reference". Ist this a non-feature or maybe a issue?(We use Release 12.0.37)Thanks for your reply.
Lubomir:
In ION, Two documents are related if there is a reference from one document to the DocumentID/ID of the other document. This is defined in the BOD schema that is stored in the Data catalogue. For all Infor owned standard BODs, the relationships between one BOD and all its other related BODs are pre-defined. If no reference shows up, then it means there is none defined between these two BODs.
In this case, what you can do is to define the relation yourself by selecting that check box that says: "Use condition to define document relations". This works similar to how the referential integrity of RDBMS works where you have to define a condition like "BOD1.Field1 = BOD2.Field2". And of course there are a few other rules you have to take care when you use this option.. like you cannot have circular references (of course). And you cannot use "Document Overdue" type of monitor triggering.. You can read more in the ION desk user guide., There should be a chapter on "references".
Hope this helps!
