Drillback-Link in the e-mail from Workflow?

Hello there!

we are already use DrillBack from the Workflow or Alert, but I have no information about DrillBack from the e-mail.

Is it possible to create a DrillBack-Link in the e-mail, that is send from a Workflow to the User?

Does anyone have any experience with this?

I forgot to write, we use Infor-LN 10.5 with Infor-OS 12.0.40

Its been a while since working with LN BODS, but the drillback URL should be an attribute in your BOD. If so, you could use that in the email message. I need to double check the outbound BOD documentation, but I am pretty sure that metadata exists in the BOD, if not, you could manually generate it by doing a concatenated string, to add the variables to a hardcoded URL using the Set Parameter node on a workflow.

Lubomir, you mean drillback in the mail to directly open Task in the Ming.le or drillback to i.e IDM ?

I am needing that functionality as well. I would like to send an email that has the link to a task where they can click on the task and it is opened in Ming.le. We are thinking that in a workflow the customer service rep is doing their work and they decide they need an answer from the sales rep. We know they customer service rep could assign the task but we know the salesman pays better attention to emails. So without assigning the task to them the customer service person would initiate an email via IDM. It would be nice if the sales rep could click on a link and make their notes in the task.

Not sure if this is even possible but we bend over backwards for our sales reps.

Hi, have you tried to modify standard email template and activate this feature ?

When active , it creates active link in the email which leads directly to the Ming.le task.

Hi Piotr,

I have used this <_URL_TO_INBOX_>, I am able to get the link which is drilling to mingle but how can we go to a specific task from the url.

Any idea?

Adding some information in context of Piotr's reply.

The adding any href for a URL will simply be a standard URL link for the browser. One could put a link in to their company home page or support site if desired.

Putting in a URL to the inbox is just a standard URL.

When clicked it will open the URL , and as this link is Infor Portal, it will authenticated and and proceed.

If you are in network and using IWA experience, you will get a SSO like experience from your browser.

Off network or by policy, you likely will get challenged for authentication.

Sames as you would for any other public vs. private applications and network policies.

Hi.Thanks, but where can I find the standard email template? Are you using maybe Infor-OS (LN)?

I will add a drilldown link to Infor-OS (ERP-LN) that leads the user directly to the service contract session in LN (session "tsctm3100m000") so that he can e.g. completed a task in the service contract.
