Tasks and Workflows tied to Context Viewer?

Has anyone been able to tie a task to work with the context viewer so that when the user positions on something it would show the associated task/workflow?

For example, we have a bunch of supplier tasks and would like to be able to go into CRS620 in M3 and highlight that supplier and see the associated tasks?

Hi. I managed to create something smilar, not sure if exacly the one you are looking for.

But let me explain how as it works fine and shows Workflow progress and stage in the Context Task Viewer.

My standard procedure is:

1. Get Workflow ID and store somewhere in the M3 tables. I usually choose CUGEX1 table which is easy to join on the list view or on the detailed panels.

2. Use MNS035MI/AddEntityMap to create in-context link in CSYIEM fro EntityType = InforWorkflow

3. Enable Task Viewer in Context apps for M3 H5

4. Enable InforWorkflow in Infor Busines Context for panel / program

When you say Workflow ID, where do I find the Workflow ID?

Hi,

Sorry, I should wrote 'Workflow instance ID" instead just "Workflow ID"

At ION workflow, you can use "Set Parameter" box. Then you can assign to your variable (i.e WorkflowID ) Workflow instance ID retrieved by standard expression ID().

This variable has to be defined as INTIGER, otherwise you can't use ID() expression
