Please endorse ER 70031 - Adding First and Last Name to Candidate Pool Search

Many times recruiters are searching in the candidate pool by the name of the candidate, especially if they are try to attach them to a requisition. Although you can use the keyword search, it will bring up any word that contains the name. Example: If the candidate's first name is "Stan", the results will pull any candidates with the word "Stan" in it regardless of the data location. So it could pull in Mary Smith just because the word "STANdard" was contained somewhere in the profile.

Although there are certain fields already isolated for filtering (for example City and Education), First and Last Name are not isolated.

Totally agree...we configured our candidate pool search as the delivered is less than helpful.  I think we will be enhancing it one more time to allow for search on CandidateState.  This is a system field that denotes the candidate profile as casual, active, inactive, etc and is used to filter the list to not display inactive; however, an internal candidate profile is triggered to be Inactive upon termination so if you are ever looking for job applications for regulatory/legal purposes, you have to go to personalize and remove the filter to find the person and we would rather default it to display Active and then allow the end user to locate previous by offering the filter in the search for CandidateState.
