How to create an escalation and remainder matrix at 8 or 10 management levels in an ION workflow

Hi,

We are having a requirement from a customer which is on M3 MT cloud.

They want us to create an escalation matrix like approval matrix.

Means if e.g amount > 2000 first person does not approve then send it to his immediate manager like this a hierarchy of 8-10 management levels based on different scenarios.

Or how to send a notification to the manager if his junior does not approve it.

Currently they are doing this like type of harcoding but their problem is when one of the person is out of office it does not work for them

Could the person who has the work assigned to them just set the out of office setting to send it to someone else?

Hi Billy,

Thanks. Out of office was an example but if the user is in office but still doesn't approve it should goto his manager like this if 2nd person does not approve in time to the next level.

Basically we need t hierarchy of management levels to sent escalations and remainders if not approved by their juniors

Similar scenario for other customer where we had to skip level 1 approver if not addressed within time specified, it has to automatically go to Level 2 and so on... We addressed this using cancel task which Sadik has mentioned in his docs link. Point 5: Cancel alert, Cancel task or Cancel task chain.
