High CPU Usage in MEC Map since we can't use EA Time Correlation in Multi-Tenant Cloud

Hi, We have a MEC map for our Positive Pay process and need to delay the MEC map from running until all checks are available in M3. We were hoping to use the Time Correlation in Event Analytics but it appears Time Correlation has been disabled for MT Cloud. So we put a While Loop for 60 seconds in the MEC code for every check that is processed to delay the processing but this is causing a High CPU Usage message. If we have 18 checks then it would take the MEC code 18 minutes to complete.

1) How are you delaying MEC maps from processing?

2) Is there a way to set up something like a Time Correlation to delay the triggering of the MEC Map?

Hi Tony,

why don't you create a Widget for the User so that they can initiate a Manual Event instead and trigger the BOD (MEC/IEC) this way instead?

Since you are saying "MEC" I am wondering if this is an On-Prem version? If so, the answer might be a bit differently.

TimeCorrelation in MT is still possible. Delay in MEC could work, but might be dangerous as it might be not always enough time.

Yes, Time correlation works in MT but it can support a maximum of 90s, the check payments take time to process in M3 using the auto jobs. So the one I mentioned is an alternate way.

I tried adding the in MEC (on-premise version of M3 ) and it gives me an error as Sleep is not a function?

In the On-Prem you can add the Class Files necessary yourself in Eclipse (MEC Tool).
You can always try and just classify the Sleep statement fully to see if it works for you.
i.e. java.util.concurrent.TimeUnit.SECONDS.sleep(180)

MT Cloud relies on Infor having added them to the Class library already.
