Task History

We have a scenario to get task assignee and person who is assigned to? Do we have any API which can help us detailed history of task?

Hello Syam,

There are two ION Process APIs that can give you some information about tasks:

GET?/v1?/task?/{id} - this API returns information about a specific task. However, the user calling the API must be a member of the task distribution group or the task must be assigned to him. You cannot retrieve data about a task if it is assigned to another user, or if you are not in the distribution group.
GET?/v1?/workflow?/{id}?/tasks - this API returns information about a workflow instance. All its steps including tasks. The user who calls the API should have the workflow model "Manage" authorization. I have gone through the Api details as mentioned, I am trying to find out following scenario:

1. From Distribution list some user assigned it to another user, do we have some solution to find out who had assigned that task to another user, I see we are getting only the person who is responsible for the task.?

For Ex: In a distribution list there are 10 members, task is shared to every one user A picked up the task without assigning to himself, he had assigned to user B. Do we have some way to get details of person A also? our requirement is person B should be able to re-assign it back to person with Notes/Comments.

Please share if we have any way to figure out.

Sorry for the delay in responding.
I tried to reproduce your use case, but unfortunately could not.

Using a Monitor or an Activation policy it is possible to trigger when the task was assigned to a user. You can have an assignee but you do not have information about who did the assignment.
