How are other organizations managing when candidates open duplicate candidate profiles. Have you found a way to merge or delete duplicate candidate profiles? Thank you for your thoughts/suggestions.
As far as I know we cannot merge them. We have not found a good way to deal with them.

We have recently implemented on Infor. Candidates information will be uploaded for history and candidate pool purposes. However, these candidates have never registered on Infor. We have tested prior candidate using their email address as username and attempted to both create new account and reset password. Neither of these options worked. Creating new account with the same email address generated an error saying that this email was already used in the system and resetting password said that instructions will be sent, however, they have not been received.
This will lead candidates use a different email address to go through and apply. As a result the same candidate will have multiple candidate profiles. Please advise on the steps that prior to Infor candidates should take to make sure to reinstate their candidate record.
Is there a person detail record which links employee and candidate records? We have a group of employees who were brought over with implementation with an upload. However, this did not generate candidate records for them . As a result these employees cannot update their person items, such as certifications, skills, etc.
