Quick question for those of you managing nurse onboarding in Infor. We’re running into a challenge and hoping someone out there has found a clean workaround.
When we hire Graduate Nurses (GNs), they spend about 3 months in a temporary GN role before moving into their permanent RN position. The issue is, there’s no way in Infor to link the GN to the “destination” RN position during that time. From a reporting perspective, the RN role still looks vacant even though we already know who is going into it.
Has anyone figured out a way to track this more accurately?
- Maybe a custom field that ties them to the destination job
- A reporting trick to account for those future fills
- Something your ISD or TA teams helped build
I'd love to hear how you’re handling this, even if it’s just a partial solution. Appreciate any insight you’re willing to share.
