We have heard from many customers inquiring about tariffs. Infor’s solutions are designed to address the complexities of handling tariff-related charges. By leveraging existing tools and automation capabilities, you can maintain transparency, improve efficiency, and adapt your processes to meet evolving business needs.
We have tools in place that can handle all these scenarios:
- Tariff called out separately on invoice, we suggest adding an AOC code with a type of customs charges
- If you suspect tariffs were added to freight or handling, we suggest monitoring spikes on existing AOC codes.
- If a tariff is added to the cost of the good, ensure your contract pricing is up to date and monitor your pricing exceptions.
In EDI transactions we can currently support vendors that have tariffs called out in an 810 in the SAC (Service Allowance and Charge) segment and AOC (Add on Charge) code A122 (Tariff). Customers just need to add additional AOC code to their set-up.

Additionally, we are currently investigating product country of origin designation and the association of the product lot number. If you are interested in providing feedback in these areas, please respond to this post or email: melissa.amell@infor.com
