We are using alot of associated jobs and one of our biggest issues is trying to find a way to easily schedule between multiple jobs but not have tons and tons of secondary positions. I'm curious if anyone has come across any way to have the timecard add the primary job code if there is ever a situation that the job code is blank.
Having the job in the timecard blank causes the file to payroll to error because it cannot match to a work assignment.
Two situations for us this would fix:
- If someone creates a simple shift and assigns someone a job they dont have in their profile, then the job section of the timecard is blank.
- If someone assigns a person to an associated job that they do not directly have in their profile it also makes the job section in the timecard blank.
Any tips of tricks would be much appreciated!
