How do you use the ION Workflow web service exit point feature today?

Hello All,

This is a general query to see how customers are using the ION Workflow exit point feature.  This feature allows you to add a step to your workflow to call an external API/Web Service.  If you use it I'd like to know;

1. What is the general use case(s)?

2. Is the call made to an application you wrote or a 3rd party?

3. Is that call made via SOAP, Rest, or ???

4. If Rest is there online Swagger documentation for the web service?

5. What kind of volume per day do you experience? (eg. 100 calls to the service per day)

6. Is there some part of this feature that prevents you from using it?

If we want to use logic that is complex than available criteria in the expression of a Set Parameter activity, then we can use exit point.
