About Line Atttribution Change

Dear all,

 

We have a custom BOD related with Purchase Requsitions. We created a workflow about approve and reject items. We need to do  approve some items in this bod and  reject the other items. So we want to use Line's "Rejected" attribute. After uncheck read-only attribute for one parameter in the workflow's task content section, we can change value of this parameter.You can see" EmployeeId" attribute(Picture 1). But we cant uncheck read-only attribute for a structure(Picture 2).Its come checked as a default and unchangeable. Because of that we cant change anything related with lines parameters in the structure.

Does Infor OS has this kind of ability or do we need to do something more?

Hi Serkan,

Page 218 of the latest Infor ION Desk Guide mentions that drill-backs and structures are read-only by default and cannot be changed. So, editing the value of an element in the body of a document isn't supported at this time. You're welcome to submit a request to the Enhancement Request System and [mention:a7e08f34f5af434fa54f61ae50b1747c:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05] the ION Process product director, can explore further.

In the meantime, you could look into using the ION Mapper to help solve for this. I'm not fully aware of the business logic you kick off after the fact but you could potentially add a mapping step to your document flow following the workflow step and use BOD values to update the value of a line item.
