Facing issue in adding task viewer widget in LN

GoodDay,

I have added task viewer widget in LN. I have enabled workflows as well. When I check task viewer widget in the workflow enabled session it says "No wokflows applicable". Please find the attachment. Can anyone guide me on how to get this to get the workflow related information in task viewer.

Hello Shirisha,
Glad you are experimenting with the Task Viewer contextual app! Can you provide a bit more info about your environment?
1. What version of Infor OS? or are you in the Infor Cloud?
2. How is the workflow being triggered? Is a PurchaseOrder BOD sent from LN, and the ION Document Flow triggers the Workflow? Or maybe an ION Activation Policy triggers the workflow?

If the answer to #1 is a recent release, and the answer to #2 is a doc flow trigger or an activation policy, then the Workflow Task should show up! If it does not, try placing the text: PurchaseOrder
...as part of the Task Description in the Workflow. In some scenarios the Task needs to contain the original BOD noun in order for the context app to link the task back to the original BOD. Once done, then run a new Purchase Order that creates a new workflow and tell me if the task shows in the Context App.

If that doesn't help, please answer 1 and 2 above as well as post as much other information about your setup as possible. This includes screenshots of your activation policies, workflow task step, etc.

Hi Keith,

Our infor os version is 12.0 18.39.

We are using standard workflow purchase order and for requisition workflow we are using activation policy. I have also tried the way you have suggested like placing the text PurchaseOrder in the task description but that did not serve the purpose. Any other suggestions please.

There were some updates made to the contextual app in 12.0.25. So you could try that release to see if it fixes the problem. Otherwise I am out of ideas and would recommend opening a Support incident so we can gather more info.

Hi Keith, I am also facing the same issue with the task viewer. As suggested we are on mingle 12.0.30 but still its not working for me. Thanks.
