[Release Highlights] April 2024 – Infor OS App Designer

The following describes the new release highlights for users of Infor OS App Designer:

• Stats Template: The previous Count Template is being replaced with the Stats Widget to better adhere to the IDS standards. This will allow for more KPIs to be displayed with more information. This also better conforms to the IDS standards.

• Data Lake Wizard: This enhancement to the Data Lake Wizard now will display a list of available and selected parameters, with an advanced mode for query customizations. Query Parameters step is now better aligned with the low-code design. User can now add aliases to make data easier to read when binding properties.

• Direct Deployment Publishing: This enhancement will prompt the user when saving a widget if they would like to publish and deploy the widget all at once. This eliminates the time it takes to publish and deploy a widget.

• Menu Template - Important Links:  A new menu template has been released that will house important links. Links actions will be able to call APIs, URLs, drillbacks, or bookmarks. This will provide more enhanced navigation within workspaces and improve workflow efficiency.

• Visual Improvements: A new Compass engine mode, called Analytical mode, is now available for querying data in Data Lake. Data Services page has been updated to include additional filters such as "Filter by Suite" and "Filter by Tags". Improved alignment and spacing on header and grid. Translations page has been improved to replace the language selection with a dropdown and improved spacing on grid.

• CURDATE() Keyword: This enhancement adds Application Binding as a new source in the expression dialog that will allow for the keyword CURDATE() to be returned in its current locale or in a custom formatted locale. New item in the expression dialog that will allow for the CURDATE() keyword to default to the current locale. This keyword will also accept a formatted date for custom date formats.
