Hello,
We have a few different systems here and use a non Infor product to control drawings. We do have a file server setup so CSI can access these drawings via Mongoose Browser Control. Now, does anyone know if I can create a Mongoose form report and point a section of the report to a PDF? Or just tell Taskman to print the contents of a certain PDF to a new file? Reason is we want to use CSI as a security control when requesting PDF drawings instead of giving access to the drawing server to the users directly. The browser control works, but users would like some emailing functionality setup.
ThanksRyan
Just thinking out loud. maybe MoveFileServerToServer will be of any use to what you need, you can move a file from a FileServer.LogicalFolder to another FileServer.LogicalFolder.
inside the custom assembly or formscript, i think you can read the contents from Logical Folders and send it to AES and use generic email.
In ReportViewer there's an option interpret tags. I don't have much experience in HTML and I wonder if this can contain a page or a link maybe and what happens if it gets printed thru bgtask.
I tried this and i couldn't get it to work. It puts the block on the report like it wants to render but I think that TaskMan is not smart enough to render the contents before putting on the PDF. But I will see if I can make it work. Thanks for the suggetsions!
