[Release Highlights] April 2024 – Infor OS Mongoose

The following describes the new release highlights for users of Infor OS Mongoose:

• Utilize Soft Fonts in Themes: The font family theme editor has been revised to now allow for soft web fonts. User can now import web fonts and combine then with installed fonts as well. The Font Family editor within themes has been revised to now allow the user to add a soft font. This editor will accept a name and URL of the soft font.

• Smart Flex: New drag and smart drop functionality for flex layout components simplifies the development process. This enhancement streamlines the development process, resulting in increased efficiency and speed when developing applications.

• Alabaster Theme Color: This enhancement will default the Mongoose theme color to the Portal default of Alabaster. New Theme Color Mapping editor will allow the user to define default themes and theme colors. This enhancement will provide a better adherence to IDS standards and will allow for more flexibility on defining theme colors.

• Purge Audit Log: This enhancement to the Delete Audit Logs tool will purge audit logs to avoid timeout failures and excessive impact.Improve the performance of the Delete Audit Logs form to reduce the number of times when it may hang or timeout in the Cloud. Batch the deletes on Audit Log, make an index change to increase performance and add logic to create the new index.

• Vertical Notebook Tab: This enhancement will allow the developer to change how the tabs in the Notebook component are displayed by displaying them in a drop-down vertical list view. There is an added setting to the Notebook control, that will use a selection dropdown in place of notebook tabs.
