How pass a parameter in Custom tab for external link

We are trying to access external application and have build a custom tab, which points to external application, we can add the parameters to be passed in this url. But we are not able to add a parameter which can read the "Use EAM Field Value" and pass with url.

example:

Custom tab has a url : http://sample.com

Paramater we want to pass udfchar01, so value of this shall be passed to external link

Obviously, you can't include spaces in a URL, so you'll need to escape the value before trying to pass it in. This function should do the trick: docs.microsoft.com/.../system.uri.escapeuristring

I am looking for these parameters, this is custom tab and I am trying to add the parameter to it, which can be read as request parameters in external application.

Hi DeanB,

I am NOT doing it in code, I am using the attached screen, where I need to add new parameter and map to some field value. Is there anyway to write as %20EAM%20Field%20Value in above screen.

Custom screen is external application, where I want to read these passed parameters.
