COR Inbox table records

Hello,

I have a document flow consist of three objects in the following sequence:

1. Oracle database function as source of BOD xml.
2. sync.personnel Mapping
3. Infor Application connection

Are the BOD's supposed to be written to the Infor COR_INBOX_ENTRY and COR_INBOX_HEADERS tables.

I never see records in these tables. Are they deleted after they are processed in Infor application?

There is a setting called "Delete processed messages in Outbox" on Infor Application connection points. Try that one and see if it changes anything.

In general, yes. For each BOD delivered to your app's db you should have one or more COR_INBOX_HEADER rows as well as one COR_INBOX_ENTRY row. The BOD XML is stored in the COR_INBOX_ENTRY table row.

Table cleanup is dependent upon configuration. ION can keep the COR_OUTBOX tables cleaned up by setting the "Delete Processed Messages in Outbox" flag in the connection point.

COR_INBOX table cleanup is typically a responsibility of the receiving application.

If you have not setup a process in the receiving app to clean up the COR_INBOX tables, and you're not seeing your BOD, then I would assume your BOD is either not making it to ION, or it's not making through ION to your application's inbox. OneView should be able to tell you which it is.

COR_OUTBOX_ENTRY --> Out going bods.

COR_OUTBOX_ENTRY table is the place where the bod("C_XML" BLOB ) present, "C_WAS_PROCESSED" column represents whether it is processed by ION or not.

Target (Infor ERP Application)

It will have its own schema to represent Inbox and Outbox tables.

Once ION is picked the record for processing then "C_WAS_PROCESSED" column value become 1, after that mapping will happen then will send to Target Application.
