Receiving an error

Hello,

I am receiving an error when trying to call an API

The code "7ce64035-b4d8-4510-b09c-79855b3038fb"

Does anybody have any advice or can point me in the right direction?

Can you please post details on about the API you are trying to call , input parameters and output parameters .

If your instance is in the cloud, Infor Cloud team could check the logs for that specific correlation ID.

If you're on-premise, I'd try checking the local ION logs as I don't know of any other related places to look for logging other than via the Grid UI. Some of the naming conventions might differ slightly depending on the version of Infor OS you are running. Running 12.0.37 it looks something like this...

Navigate to ION Desk > Configuration > Logging and select the Infrastructure tab.

There are several components that generate log files. You'll need to decide which ones seem relevant and work your way through each. You can search on the correlation ID and often find additional information about the error.

Tip: It may help to change the logging level (be sure to save the setting) and then reproduce the problem again to make it easier in reviewing the latest logs.

You can also check the ION Desk node log. This is done from the Grid UI. You can access the log for this specific node, or directly at the install location:

We actually did an upgrade to Ion which resolved our problem
