Sending mass CustomerStateReport to customers using customized emails

Hello every body,

I'll first explaine my issue : When clicking the button print in the Customer Statement reprot, it sends emails to all customers with the report attached but there is no subject and no body core in those emails just the attachement, and it's often considered as a spam by the customer.

Can you help me please to find a solution to customise those emails by addind a subject, a body core, and eventually a signature.

Very welome fiou. You would do this in o365. From the Exchange Admin Center, select the Mail Flow tab and add a new rule. I think it will be pretty obvious from there.

If using Exchange or Office 365 for mail, this is relatively easy to setup using transport rules. If the e-mail you address you send from is NoReply@abc.com, you can set up a transport rule to catch e-mails FROM NoReply with Statement in the subject. Then in the rule actions, you can write a message body. Likewise, I have done similar rules to replace the sender address, so Stements and invoices appear to come from AP@abc.com and Order Confimations appear to come from Customer.Service@abc.com, etc.

the transport rule is to be implemented in Office365 or in Syteline, can you please give more details i've never did a transport rule before it's a totaly new concept for me.

The only in-Syteline control I know for this is the SUBJECT line. You can write a generic static e-mail subject in the Background Task Definitions > Task Description.

For instance, we wrote "STATEMENT - DO NOT REPLY" in that field, for the BGTaskDefinitions of CustomerStatementsSimpleReport.

thanks for the tip. Is there any way to have a dynamic parameter value in the email subject using the Background Task Definitions > Task Description ?

Not that I'm aware of.

Maybe some more experienced users here would know about such a way? I guess you would have to modify an SP/CLM/FormScript?
