IDM Output Management - APS141PF

There is an XML file that gets created for APS141PF and would like to know how I can output or redirect to ION?

If not, is there a way to output the XML Print File to an IP Address or Port so I can create a capture the contents of the XML?

I am trying to use this file to create a check? Has anyone been able to use this XML for creating a CHECK file to a bank?

Any advice or recommendations would help.

Hi there,

APS141PF corresponds to document 504.

Did you try to :

- attach MBMEVENT to this document in CRS945/CRS949. The printout of APS141PF will go through EventHub (event name : MBMInitiator:Q)

- subscribe MEC to MBMInitiator:Q coming from M3

- get the eventData in MEC to trigger a mapping that would generate an XML file (embedded in a custom BOD for transportation purpose) and send it to ION

I am not sure about which file format is accepted by the bank but maybe XML will work.

It seems like the document ID is not showing up on CRS945. Any idea why?

Try CRS928 + F14 to generate standard messages if document 504 does not exist in the list... or maybe you should open the "filter" option to enter DIVI + document number

Hi Jaime,

Infor is working on a solution for us regarding the Positive Pay process with Chase (This is a flat file we will load manually). We have not completed the technical spec yet, but the idea is to use APS141PF XML-s as input for the file, and create one file per job number (Check run from APS130). In our case the output will be send to a folder on the CFT server.

Forgot to ask, did you develop something already, and what solution did you end up with?

Yes we did developed positive pay for 3 of american customers with different approaches and having different banks in different file formats. Please let me know how may i assist you here ?

By the way, each submission of job number APS130 run , is a single proposal having multiple checks.

Each time file pushed to bank will charge per file, which is additional amount of loss per file to go when multiple files communicating with bank in a day.

In case of a scheduled time, would like to hear the bank on consolidated checks per day is reduce the number of files to process at the bank. (which is not a trigger from APS130).

Hope this will help, in the design/ technical point of view.

Hi Lakshmi,

We thought that we had was solved via parallel processing in Output Management (setting up both CRS945 and MNS205), but apparently this does not work if one process (creating the check) is using an XML to IDM and the second process (flat file to the bank) is using ION.

We are now looking into the MBM initiator solution creating 1 file per check run. Instead of retrieving the data directly from the check XML we now have to use API-s to retrieve the data.

Could you let me know if your solution is similar. What table are you using to retrieve the data?
