Not able generate the email notification from IOS MT environment.

Hello All,

I have created a workflow notification in ION when a quote is created in LN system, it's generating notification in Mingle but not generated the email notification to the user.

Can any one suggest me the reason for it.

Did you enter SMTP host details in ION Desk / Configuration / ION Service? IF yes then there is another section here, named Pulse, where you can switch on/off emails.

I'm using Infor OS Cloud suite. i did configure, but not working.

Hi, above Pulse Engine settings there should be Email settings. At least they are if you are using On-premise. I'm not sure for Cloud MT. Could be different here as that one would probably be set up by Infor. You could also go to Logging / Infrastructure and turn on DEBUG level for Pulse. Then you can repeat the Quote BOD publishing and check the log for errors.

Have you checked the check box in the distribution?
Also, can you check if you are able to check if in the activities are you able to get the email. I have configured the same setup in MT cloud and I am getting the email notifications.

Thank you Shirisha.

Issue has been fixed.

It's due to configuration->ion service -> PulseEngine : from Address, this address we have to get it from the Cloud Installation team(donotreply@xxxcom).

Previously i have given my outlook id, thats the reason it was not working

Hi Satish,

It will work for other mails as well. You will get them in junk mails sometimes if we give the customised email.
