Hi, it is not clear what you are actually after.. Do you already have a REST application that can act as an API service in ION API. Then you have to define it via Available APIs.

Thanks for the reply. We are trying to create one data flow that will get triggered via an exposed ION API. What we are trying to do is create a custom API which will be the first activity in the data flow. We will trigger the data flow using that ION API URL using tools like SOAPUI/POSTMAN and once triggered, the further steps of the data flow will get executed. What i want to understand is how do i create that custom API which will act as triggering point /Source of the data flow .

You can use the IMS API to submit a start Workflow BOD, or create your own triggering noun, or use the ION API for various pulse message interfaces directly.

Defining your own API in ION is coming but not yet available. But your use case seems to be covered in the existing capabilities.
