Processing messages from ION to IEC sequentially

Hi,

I have a particular type of message where I need to ensure only one at a time is processed from ION or IEC. The default behaviour is to process multiple messages currently but for one type of message I need to ensure they are processed sequentially. Is there a way to configure this behavior?

Hi,

When you create a Receiving communication channel, there is an option called 'Ordered'. Set it and messages will be processed one by one.

Thanks Mithun. In our MT environment we have an Ordered communication channel configured and visible in IEC Admin. The piece we don't understand is how we get messages sent from ION through the ordered channel as opposed to the unordered. I'm guessing it must be possible to set something in the BOD header that will send the BOD to the ordered channel. Thanks
