Config console changes - import and export

Did anyone try to export the config console changes and import it to the different environment. Please let me know the steps.We need to move from test to higher environment.

We do this for data refreshes. Manually from Rich Client, we would go to Administration Console, Configuration and Personalization, Configuration, and Export Configuration.



From there, we choose the type of data we need to export and the location. We export to a zip, as the import uses the zip file format.



I run a process every night that performs the backup in case something happens and we need to go back, or in case we have a data refresh that overwrites anything.



For configuration console(Export Application Data), this would be fine. If you want to export and import process flows, you will want to make sure the processes you use have a variable for the data area, and it is not hard coded.
