Good day all,
I work in an environment that views the words customization and interface as bad words. We are at a point in our application lifecycles where we have multiple systems ready to be replaced. The obvious choice (for a few of us, anyway) would be to replace our AR, AP, HR, and all other acronyms software with a product that can speak to our existing work management, customer service, inventory, and asset management system; which just happens to be an Infor product. The products I would be integrating (which is not quite a bad word, but it is awfully close to interfacing) are Infor Lawson and Infor Public Sector - Hansen.
My question up for discussion is: What would be the best description of what ION does for two different Infor products without using the words "Custom" or "Interface" as far as communicating data between the two products.
(I know there are a million pages of documentation out there, I would just like to hear what your opinion.)
Thanks,
Nick
