How to show shared folder location as a link in Notification in a ION workflow

I am sending a shared folder location as a Notification to a user. If we send an URL as a Notification it will automatically identify as a link and that link will be clickable.

Therefore how do I convert that shared folder location viewable as a link inside Notification inside ION workflow. I tried to set the folder location parameter type as Hyperlink inside workflow but the value coming from file template is String. Therefore that will cause type incompatibility.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Hello,

It seems that an input parameter of a WF having type "hyperlink" can only receive values beginning with "http://", "https://" or "ftp://"... and Windows hyperlink starts with "file://"

And what is a shared folder in a cloud env ? I suppose you are on-prem.

I actually didn't try the web link. The FTP server is only accessible via Remote Desktop. Therefore we're only passing the shared folder location with the error notification. Thank you for your help

How about a file starting with "file://". For me it's not showing as a link in Notification.
