Task Updates in a Workflow

Has one tried to update a task that was generated from a workflow from an outside application?  

 

We have an order management system that we would like it to be able to update the notes in a task but I am not sure how to 1) get the necessary information from mingle to identify the task properly and 2) are there some api's in ION API that would do exactly this?

Hi,

 

Maybe can you have a look at this ION API : IONProcessUserService / v1/task/{id}/addnote

 

Required input parameter is the task id.

 

Example :

1) launched a WF manually : WF id = 19. This WF has 1 notification + 1 task

 

Updating note for task id 12 :

 

Result :

There is also API to get the tasks list of a WF.
