Can we add multiple output pyhton script to dataflow?

Hi All,

I have created a python script which gives 3 output files. its working fine in ion scripting,but in dataflow the script with multiple outputs is not listed in scripts list .

Could you please let me know only single output scripts are allowed in dataflow?

You have a single input and single output variable to a python script in the current product.

Hey Anish,

Today, you're only able to define a single input and output document in context of a Data Flow. However, we're just about to release a new feature enhancement that supports multiple inputs and outputs which will be extremely useful for being able to use Python scripts within a Workflow. We're looking at plans and how best to support this new feature within Data Flows as well so stay tuned.

In the meantime, you can try a couple of solution options:

Use the Splitter activity to break down the input document into separate files before feeding it into a script
Configure multiple scripts and create three branches within your Data Flow to send your input file into each custom script
