Infor integration with websites

Hello,

As part of our project to create a new website, I would need to have an idea about the best existing integration platforms between Infor and websites.

Could you please share your experience in similar projects and make some recommandations about best integration platforms.

Depends on what you're looking to do.

Looking for a Customer, Vendor, or Dealer portal? the CPQ Web Portal does just that. https://www.infor.com/products/customer-experience-suite/cloudsuite-cpq

If you're looking for some sort of direct integration, Infor ION is a very robust (but HUGE) middleman platform containing a plethora of additional features, but can connect to almost anything. https://www.infor.com/products/ion

If you're looking for something outside of that? That would need to rely on what your expectations are.

This is really one of those "It depends on your situation" like what Mat S said. It will also depend on how your site is configured/run (Cloud/Onsite, Trust/NoTrust, etc). These are some ways you can interface w/ websites/etc.:

REST - This is pretty straight forward. This will require that your Utility Server and your "web site" can speak to each other via HTTPS.
BOD - (I believe) Business Object Documents. You can submit 'messages' to the Utility Servers IIS Message Queues. CSI then polled the queues & processes the documents & possibly sensing one back. I have not worked with BOD's yet, but I have seen them in action.
API's/Network - If the web service offers an API, you might be able to code against that. Similarly, you could communicate using the 'services' native language (HTTP, FTP, etc) which will require you to process the in & outbound commands.
ION - Infor's "integration" solution. A package that must be purchased from Infor.

These are just a few ideas/suggestions.

I am trying to use landmark webservices to create a WSDL that can be used by an external website. Is that possible? I dont get any returns when I use SOAP UI to test.
