Basics of ADFS integration with InforOS Cloud

Good morning,

I am moving an on-prem implementation of InforOS to the cloud. At the moment, I am the only "direct" user, and I am only administering a single ION integration and a Rhythm site, but eventually I could see us expanding to use Mingle, additional ION integrations, and other pieces.

What I am wondering is what are the basics of configuring IFS with our already outward facing ADFS? I am sure there are documents explaining this, but there are SO many documents available for Infor products... Plus, I would like to hear from other users and product specialists what their experience has been with this setup.

Hey Nick! Hope things are well with you! The below Multi-Tenant Infor OS guide details the different Federation setup options. I have completed the ADFS/SSO setup myself, several times. It was fairly easy to setup ADFS. Let me know if you have any issues or questions.

we are trying to setup Infor OS with IFS, on-prem but is having issue. do you happen to come across similar guide for on-prem setup ?

If you want to use ADFS for on-prem or Cloud, the initial setup and configuration is the same. I created my own doc, from Microsoft's site, below is the URL I used. It is a fairly easy process, as long as you have a PFX of your SHA-256 wildcard certificate.

What kind of issues do you face? You may download the installation guide for Infor OS from inforxtreme (now support.infor.com). Login, go to "Infor Support Portal" from the 9 squares icon on the top, go to "search" menu, then "browse documentation" submenu, press "show all product lines" blue button, expand "Infor Operating Service" tree, select your version and go to the "Installation guides" node.
I find that recent versions of this document are quite good. If you have questions, please list the issues, or specify what the exact problem is.
